The game that started it all. Pokemon Red is still one of my favorite titles of all time and could really beat a lot of current games in terms of gameplay value.

The mission: Defeat Pokemon Gyms to obtain all 8 badges of the Kanto region, while beating your rival to the title of Pokemon Champion.

That's it. That's essentially what this game's about. Simple, yes. But it's a long journey and you'll meet new friends along the way to help you.

You build your team of 6 from a collection of 151 (yeah, I included Mew, do something about it) creatures called 'Pokemon' who possess the powers of the elements in the form of attacks. This team of 6 is used to fight other trainers who block you on your way to the throne.

Sounds easy? Well it is. You go around the world collecting animals to fight other animals and become the world's best dog-fighter. It's simple, but we love it all the same.

One of the best games of the Pokemon franchise. Pokemon - Red Version (USA, Europe) is a game that was developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo. This game features many Pokemon, many Pokemon trainers (like Red), and many items. You are the Pokemon Trainer (Red) who can capture the Pokemon and use them in battles. Blue is your rival, so you have to face Blue in order to become the Pokemon champion.

Collect Poket monsters, traveling from city to city. The game is time consuming. But it's fun and addicting. You train your Pokemon to a high level in order to beat all gym leaders each with different elements and maze routes. Great game!

Just the title screen makes me excited. Pokemon Red Version (USA, Europe) is probably the best Game Boy game ever. Either that or tied 1. with Pokemon Blue Version and Pokettu Monsuta Midori (Or Pocket Monsters Green). So in general this is TEM outta TEM (UNDERTALE reference), but I can only put in 5/5, so crap.

Pokemon Adventure - Red Chapter (beta 7) Game Description

After the fateful encounter of Mew in PALLET FOREST, our protagonist, Red, finds himself in a Pokemon Journey to become the best POKEMON Trainer in the world. However, it won't be easy when his rival Blue, and later Green, is also following the exact dream. In addition to this, an even more difficult obstacle stands in his way as Team Rocket begin to perform their own cruel experiment which may destroy the world!
This game is based on the Pokemon Adventure manga. The game follows the manga closely, with nearly all the events inside. However, some events were changed to make it longer. Because the game follows the Manga closely, you don't get to chose your own starter Pokemon. However, you will be able to get them all later in the game. Despite the game following the Manga's storyline, it also features several references to the Anime.
Features:
• Story follows the Manga exactly with few extras events.
• Only boy is playable (There will be a future Version that focuses on Green's storyline).
• All POKEMONS are catch-able.
• POLIWHIRL is the starter POKEMON (Base stats increased).
• Blue and Green will make more appearance compared to manga.
• New Tiles, Maps, Textures, Items, Trainer class and Pokemon Sprites.
• Game will have OPTIONAL events that would change the storyline.
• The main characters speak in color text while NPC speaks in black.
• Able to travel to ORANGE ISLE after the game.
• Several reference to the Anime (e.g. JESSIE and JAMES appearance).
• Gym Leaders will have special pokemon.
• 3 new POKEMON TYPES: Fairy, Shadow and Glitch.
• Day and Night System.
This is Beta 7. This is not the final beta, as the next few betas will feature Red in the Orange Archipelago. However, this beta finishes the main storyline for Red Chapter. The hack follows the story of the manga (extended a little). Most of the story elements are canon to the Pokemon Adventure storyline.

Get rid of those lv100 Magnemite. Seriously a pain in the ass trying to get passed them and you lose so much money. Seriously who puts an obstacle like that in a pokemon game.

This game is fun to play but still needs work. Talked to misty in MT. Moon by accident and the game froze. Needs more trainers from what i can see so far.

There is no need for all those Level 100 magnemite. Lost thousands from losing to them, can't get past them keep getting caught!!

why does the game crash after you get the primal root? Youu can get a venusaur in your party, but it will stay as an ivysaur in front of you =/
