The Steam Workshop makes it easy to browse the most popular, newest or highest-rated mods of all time, as well as searching for specific content via tags such as “Armor”, “Quests”, “Dungeons”, and more.
There are several 15 page threads on community.bethesda.net where people are having issues with downloading the full CK due to server issues on Bethesda's side and a broken launcher.

Anyone who's able to simply place the CK somewhere more capable would be doing a ton of people a huge favor. The launcher is fixable, but noone can download the CK atm due to the server issues.
