I need advice on how to ensure i don't get console crashes rendering my box useless and twice i have had to take hdd's out and move data off then back into a freshly installed box taking me several days of work.

Last fault was caused by sudden lose of power to pc then server rebooted but would not allow me access to console either via server itself us it directly or via Remote desktop.

And also The drive extender Migrator service terminated unexpectadly.It has done this 10 times.

Obviously something major wrong and i have just re-installed and updated a fresh install yet again and i await with joy it's failing :-(

It would not let me do the server re-installation,and would only give me option of New,even though my hard drives were all listed there so it is like it cannot see the installation.

I have done many things like running a batch chkdsk /r which hung for ages,tried creating a new admin profile,used different home server dvd's and oem installation discs,gone into safe mode,I have no antivirus as it is not connected to net and it had no add-in's,so i am completely stumped as to why this is the most unreliable software.

thank god for it's duplication feature as i have yet to lose4 any data but i am sick of reloading it again and again only for it to let me down.

Could anyone help me please.
